Music Secretary
Kaytlynn Wood grew up in Shannon, Illinois where her dad was pastor of Shannon Baptist Church. At age four, she got in big trouble after pitching a fit at church. That night while lying in bed God convicted her of her sin, and all by herself, she called on Him to save her. Within a few years after her salvation, God gave her a burden for the ministry, and she dedicated her life to full time Christian service. From junior high on she stayed very active in the ministries of her church. The summer after her senior year in high school, God called her family to Grace Baptist Church in Dacula, Georgia. Six weeks after the move, she started her freshman year at Bob Jones University. God used this time in school to teach her two life long lessons; no matter how busy life becomes, it’s never too busy to be in God’s Word daily, and it’s never too busy to be involved in ministry.
At age four, Kaytlynn also started taking violin and piano lessons. Her parents’ goal was never to train their four daughters to be professional musicians, but instead to nurture gifts that could be used for the Lord. They were faithful in having their girls play in church, at nursing homes, at funerals, and in hospitals while continually reminding them that they were playing solely for the purpose of glorifying God. While studying music at Bob Jones University, God started to give Kaytlynn a love for writing and arranging music. In May of 2010 Kaytlynn completed her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance.
Kaytlynn met the Frazors while working in the kitchen at Northland during the summer of 2009. From the time she was a little girl she had dreamed of traveling on an evangelistic team and is very excited to see how God is going to continue to change her heart through this new ministry.
